为了迎接中秋节的到来,人民公正党别出心裁炮制了”烈火莫熄”中秋月饼,与华社共庆传统佳节,并传达”全民十年改革,迈向新里程碑”的政治意义.
此国内独一无二的”烈火莫熄”中秋月饼,自2003年发起,今年正式迈入第五个年头.
”烈火莫熄”中秋月饼可贵于它延续了当年中国元朝末年朱元樟和刘伯温,反抗暴政求变的精神,而在我国当今面对着执政集团腐败的现实,
”烈火莫熄”中秋月饼传达另一种全民改革的意愿.
”烈火莫熄”典故则必须追溯回1998年九月二日,前副首相暨人民公正党顾问安华依布拉欣被当时的首相敦马哈迪医生开除后,遭受不经审讯扣留和非人道对待,民间发起声援安华和声讨马哈迪的动荡时代.
当是恰逢华人传统节日中秋节,于是人民借国文REFORMASI之音,把”烈火莫熄”四字写在灯笼上,再手提着”烈火莫熄”灯笼,走在街上高喊”烈火莫熄”,来表达”改革尚未结束”之意.
如今1998年发起的政治改革运动已迈入第十个年头,在各族人民奋勇追求公正与人民的努力下,十年的斗争终于在3月8日全国大选开花结果,最近峇东埔补选的成绩,更说明了人民力求改变的决心.
中秋节的圆月意味”团圆”和”圆满”,我们希望看到国阵妨碍人民团圆的种族政治尽早结束,让人民重新团结,齐心发展国家;我们也希望看到916变天成功,让第一阶段的十年斗争划下圆满句点,迈向新里程碑.
